Hanka – A talented Beginner
My Mum recently finished another beginners patchworking class,
and one of the clever ladies, Hanka, has really taken to it all!
She popped into the shop to show me some of her finished projects.
This first quilt is the one we teach in our beginners class. Hanka choose
to useĀ red and white fabrics to complete her quilt and we think it looks stunning.
Hanka had this quilt professionally machine quilted

She then decided to make a small wall hanging to match the quilt she had just made.
Hanka machine quilted this piece herself!

The she was given some fabric from a friend and decided to make a simple
squares and sashing quilt. Fantastic work!

Great stuff by Hanka! I was in that class. My quilt is still sitting ready to be quilted, as I need to save up some money to pay the quilter to do it for me.
Love her wall hanging and her stitching is beautiful in the quilting.
Nice stuff!
