Bloomsbury Gardens by Liberty Lifestyle
Last week a new range of Liberty fabrics arrived in store.
The Liberty Lifestyle collection is a new range of Liberty Print fabrics which are suitable for crafting, patchwork and all sewing projects. The first collection ‘Bloomsbury Gardens’ consists of five different colour palettes and eleven prints.

I was lucky enough to get samples pieces of these fabrics
and have been making quilts.
This first one is called Goose Chase and
it is a simple quilt that showcases your
favourite fabrics in the range.

The other quilt is taking a little longer,
and has been pieced by both my Mum and I.

Mum has pieced about half and I am busy making the rest.
I love this star and I think it makes the Liberty Prints
look quite vintage. You will have to stay tuned for
this pattern, and while I am here, any
suggestions for a name?

A few name suggestions:
* Champagne Stars
* Liberation LeMoyne
* A Very English Garden
* Vintage Stargazer
* Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds (a vintage song name for a quilt made with diamond shaped star points)
I also like Romaine’s suggestion of ‘Star of Liberty’ as this is one that also came to mind.

What Romaine says. I think these fabrics are just so pretty. Will have to get some before it’s too late!
Nice job.

Marrakesh starlight – the stars remind me of the glass lanterns in the shape of 3D stars

Love the fabrics, the colours are gorgeous, I think Id call the blocks “Bucks Fizz”, something sweet, and retro

What about Star Bright?

Liberty Stars seems simple and to the point. Colours are gorgeous. Love it. Wish I had to make a pattern like this. My quilts are much quicker to piece by necessity.

I thought maybe
“Bright shining Liberty”
“Memories of Liberty”
“My long loved memory”.
Just the three that came to mind and please forgive me if you have already named this quilt
I think it is another beautiful one (then again I love everything since I saw your couch cover)!!!!
