Gotta love a bit of Kaffe. Will he ever run out of beautiful designs?
April 16th, 2008 at 8:05 am
My favorite Kaffe print is the paperweight fabric. I love it!
April 16th, 2008 at 8:37 am
My sister would so love me forever if I won this for her! She loves Kaffe Fassette fabrics, a fat 8th pack would go beautifuly with the book she has.
April 16th, 2008 at 12:08 pm
Such great bright colors and prints that all blend perfectly with almost everything. Brings life to quilts and makes those long time old patterns come to life in a quilt.
April 16th, 2008 at 3:36 pm
Me, Me .. OOps, Sorry, can I please enter the drawing and
)
have a go at winning the Lovvvellly fabric ?
I can not show you the things I’ve made, because I’m still
learning applique and patchworking and cutting little and
some (not so )little peaces, but I’m getting there !!
I do not have a website (and I will probably not ever be
bright enough to learning to do so..) hey girls, I’m in
my mid-life crisis you know
but, I can read ‘this girls blog’, and enjoy it, so, that’s
enough for me..
Pretty kitten to, thanks for looking after it, how about calling it ‘Pinokkio’ ?
Greetings and thank you,
from Danielle in Bruges Belgium

My favorite Kaffee pattern is the African Huts which I’ve made and hangs in my foyer…just love it. Don’t have a digital to share to share a photo.

I’ve never sew with Kaffe Fassette fabrics, but I have to say I LOVE the designs. Very fun and bright!
April 17th, 2008 at 1:24 am
My favorite (and the only one I’ve actually got) is one I call his geranium print – I’ve got it waiting to go on as a border for my Heather Bailey quilt. Well done on 100 posts – good effort and great reading!
April 17th, 2008 at 1:29 pm

April 18th, 2008 at 5:03 am
What a fab 100th post giveaway! Congratulations and to many more to follow. I am making a Tree of Life quilt at the moment using kaffe’s fabric! You will see my current favorites on posts titled “I just love fabric” and “what are you doing tomorrow?”. Great new classes by the way!
April 18th, 2008 at 5:49 pm
I don’t know if I’m eligible for your giveaway because I don’t have any experience or projects made with Kaffe Fassett fabrics yet. I can tell you what it is that I would make with this beautiful fabric. I would make myself a rather large, quilted patchwork bag with many pockets, both inside and out. The vibrancy of the colors just blows me away and really inspires me. Congratulations on your 100th post!
Aloha!
April 18th, 2008 at 11:41 pm
I don’t know if I have a favourite, I like most of them, maybe paperweight? Or the large lotus leaf fabric? I don’t have a quilt either but one is in the planning!
April 19th, 2008 at 12:38 pm
Hi,
I have some of my first Kaffe Fassett fabrics that I bought with a pack form your shop. I can’t wait to use them and then explore so many more of the fabrics.
April 19th, 2008 at 10:16 pm
I have to say that I love all of his fabrics, the colours are so bright and vibrant and looking at them makes me feel happy I have been collecting a few when I see them but haven’t made anything as yet. I would be so excited to win !!!
April 20th, 2008 at 1:21 am
Hi Emma – I am wriggling in my seat about your giveaway! His material is so exciting and ‘out there’ – I also bought my first Kaffe from you, so thanks for the beginning of a sad addiction! Just joshing! Along with others, paperweight and roman glass are stunning, and I have a large piece of pastel Lotus, which I just look at and look at! Maybe it’s the old print of ‘August Rose’ made into my favourite shirt! Who can choose?
April 20th, 2008 at 1:25 am
I’m sorry Emma; I didn’t wish for you a very happy 100th post; so here it is – “Happy 100 cheers for you and many more” – actually we could be twins – I’ve just had my 100th too! (This isn’t a blatant try to get in the giveaway one more time…but has it worked?)
April 20th, 2008 at 1:48 am
wow a giveway so generous………I can’t buy any Kaffe materials from stores near me ………would love to make something from his materials…….

Happy 100th, Emma!
I love the intense colours of Kaffe’s fabrics, especially the blues and greens. And there’s always a little hint of another colour I hadn’t imagined would go together – claret with sky blue, mustard with chartreuse – that can lead to exciting combinations and tangents!
April 20th, 2008 at 2:24 am
Found you from Ric-rac. I’d love to have a play with the fabrics. I’ve made 3 quilts so far, and as I have 4 kids i have to keep going!
By the way, what did you end up calling the kitten? Ours are called Daphne and Maris… we’re big ‘Frasier’ fans.
April 20th, 2008 at 3:12 am
Congratulations on your 100th post – well done! I haven’t used Kaffe Fassett as yet but I must say I like the bright oranges he uses.

)
April 20th, 2008 at 11:57 am
I feel rather guilty leaving a comment as I haven’t been before – although I have visited the shop (thanks to mentions by Rachel, Annie and Jodie!) and I couldn’t resist leaving a comment! If, by some miracle, I win this giveaway could you include one of those fantastic paper bags that Annie (Flower Garden) mentioned last year with “I buy fabrics because it is less expensive and much more fun than psychiatric care” – it made me laugh so much when I was reading through her archives the other day – it could have been written for me!

Congratulations on the 100 mark, wow what a beautiful bundle of fabric, I love the pinks and oranges. Haven’t used Kaffe fabrics before, have just moved out of my Kansas Troubles kind of country phase. I’d probably use them in a bag or smallish quilt. cheers, Marita

Kaffe Fassett has been my knitting inspiration too for 20 years. (That means I am getting old!) His patchwork fabrics are definitely very inspirational too.
