A New Addition – I need a name please!

I have a new member of my family. I already have Mr Pringle the beautiful stray cat I found over 8 years ago and Bronte the golden retriever. She is a lovely little thing that fits in the palm of my hand and when awake never stops mewing. Even when she is happy! She also has a very loud purrrrrrrrrr. She is sleeping lots and eating heaps which is great. It is always a struggle to keep young kittens alive when they have no mother, so I am quite pleased with myself that I have got this far. However as you would have noticed I have no name for her so I am asking everyone in blogland to help me! This cute little kitten needs a name!

Oh Emma he is SO adorable. I am a HUGE cat lover and he melts your heart. The only name that I think would suit this little guy is Baby… If he was mine I would be cuddling him all day.

  3. Janelle Says:

P.S. Sorry, she is a she – whoops. I think she suits Baby even more now!

Hello/Bonjour from France! Your little kitten is adorable. I just asked my 4 year old daughter what she thought she should be called and she said………She looks like a ‘Winks’ mummy.

  5. Jan Says:

    “Ugly”

  6. Rachelmp Says:

Now that I have seen her ..the tiny, tiny all of her, I would call her “Pockets”, she could easily fit in one!

  7. Jan J Says:

We had a cat called ‘Smokey’ when I was growing up – reminds me of her

  8. Rachelmp Says:

Okay, I asked the kids when they got home – Kane said Kitty, Callum said Fluffy, Ayden said Princess and Maya said A CAT! Umm imaginative kids….

Initially I thought Licorice as she looked black but in the second photo she looks sort of tortoise shell? Licorice or Shelley?

She is so very cute, I think she looks like Molly would suit her. You are doing a great job looking after her and giving her a lovely home.

  17. Lissa Says:

we name our pets after alcohol here in our house (have had a Brandy, Shandy, Sarsparilla, Ginny, Bundy, Tia, JD, Chardonnay (Chardy for short) Bailey and Cosmopolitan the pussy cat)so I am thinking along these lines… How about Frangelica, or Franny for short…

    Lissa
mother of Bailey the Wonderdog and Cosmopolitan the Ba$tard Cat (Cosmo for short)

PS I dont know why anyone names their cats, I mean, they dont come when you call them do they??? LOL hence Ba$tard Cat! He answers to Puss Puss tho, but still doesn’t come when called!

  18. Mags Says:

Bertha or Jane since you already have a Bronte.

  19. lisagh Says:

I’d call her Jag, short for Jaguar or maybe Stitch. She’s really quite precious!

  20. Kat Says:

I think Gypsy seeing as she was found in the slums of a shed. She is very cute

  21. Cherrie Says:

I love the name Fritz but my daughter suggests Cupcakes or Kandi. Cherrie

  22. Paper Dolls for Boys Says:

Did you name her yet? She looks like a Roxy.

  23. Joan Says:

What a sweetie! She is SO tiny! My suggestion is “Lollipop” and you can call her Lolli.

  24. Monda Says:

How about Olivia – female version of Oliver – who was also an orphan.
You could call her Liv for short – kind of cute.
