Kaleidosope is here
The wonderful book full of sweets ideas is here……. Kaleidoscope from Melly and Me. Click here to see inside!
And Mum has been busy again. She has finished a quilt top started many many years ago. The hexagons were made by Liz Dyer using our Japanese off cuts. This is actually the 2nd quilt we have made using Liz’s hexagons. The first is called “Japanese Garden”. Just got to quilt it now!
Any suggestions for the name of the quilt?

The hexagon top is just beautiful. Have no idea for a name, but would like to call it “mine”.

How about “Happy hexies” – it is such a cheerful-looking quilt and you must both be so happy to have it finished at last!

A name… a name… ooH, I know, what about ‘Cottage Garden’ referring to the Gran’sGarden-type hexs inside borders (sashing), or even better ‘Partarre’ (A borderred garden).. Hmm, brain working overtime now.
