Victorian Quilters Raffle Quilt
I have been working on this quilt for quite a few months,
and I am so glad it is finally finished.
The quilting is stunning, thanks Vicki Jenkin,
you did an amazing job.

Most of the fabrics are Kaffe Fassett,
with a few extra bright fabrics.

There are 400 Flying Geese in the borders.
Don’t think I will be sewing any of those
again in a hurry.
Vic Quilters will be selling tickets for this quilt
which will be drawn at the Vic Quilters Showcase 2011,
which is at the Craft & Quilt Show in July.

Stunning! And the quilting so compliments the pattern. Can you tell me what pattern you used? Thanks. Caro in Michigan from the US.

Hi Caro, it’s actually my own design! A foundation pieced star which I drafted up myself. I might release a pattern for it, but not sure at this stage, pretty complicated to explain. Thanks, Emma

Yes, this is a beauty…..would love to win that one. And yes Emma, I think a pattern would be in order, and I too would love to purchase one. Please keep my email and let me know if you do release a pattern for it. gloria g. in South Carolina

You should be glad on yourself buddy, this is the result of genius quilting and hard working. There are so many Geese with good placing. Very creative work & good idea especially the color combination is exceptional good !!
