My first nephew was born last year on the 3rd of December.
Very exciting after 4 nieces and a chance for me to
make some boy things.

I gave him his quilt quite some time ago and didn’t get around to
taking any photos. My sister in law, Jo, took some for me
so I can finally share what I made for him.

This is his quilt, made from 2″ squares in reds, grays
and and a touch of blue. I then just quilted lines all over
it which was a very quick and easy way to get it finished!

I also painted some pictures for his wall. You might recognise the car shapes,
which have been borrowed from Kellie’s Peak Hour quilt. I enlarged the images
and transfered them onto the canvas. Thanks Kellie!

And for the finishing touch, a car cushion using
Prints Charming’s hand printed car panel.

Mum had also been busy making bibs.

A big parcel arrived today,
full of Janelle Wind goodies!

They are all from her beautiful book
“Pieces of Me”

They will be staying with us for a while

We have just finished organising our class list for next term.
Thanks for being so patient with us, we have been a little busy.

This month we are having a bit of a pattern sale.

Well we are finally getting there. Painting is all done,
just need to sort out the mess and set up the shop.
Sorry to all of you that have stopped by this week but
I couldn’t have got what I need to get done and also
have customers in the shop. We do have our one day
renovation sale coming up on Easter Saturday to make
up for it. To celebrate we are taking 20% OFF Everything!
This will also include internet orders from
5pm Friday the 22 of April to 5pm Easter Saturday
the 23rd of April 2011.

One day to get all this sorted… I think we can do it!
